Ok so guys,

Ive got a few problems Ive been trying to fix but your local mechanic isnt really a wealth of knowledge when it comes to a 350GT, We're dealing with an 03' 350GT coupe, but with 06' taillights and headlightls, my questions are as follows,

1. My right reverse light has gone out and I think I need to replace the globe, when I take apart the boot lining the cabling run directly into the body of the car toward my taillight, how do I get to it?

2.My cigarette Lighter doesnt work and hasnt for a while, being a jap import I havent got a clue where the fuse box would be, does the one next to the battery in the engine bay have the fuse for it? because I cudnt find it, or is there another box? and where is it?

With reverse lights, is just one out or both?

May be reverse light switch which is under car, ontop of transmission (pain in the ass to get to)

It may also be a fuse which from memory is either inside the fuse box in engine bay or one of the ones behind battery

TO get to the cabling in the rear

1. Took out boot floor mat

2. Grip the boot plastic seal thing (that your boot closes on) and gently lift from one end and continue to pull off

3. Remove the plugs (2 i think) from the lining (below the boot plastic seal you just took off)

4. Now on each side there are another 2 plugs you need to remove (big ones)

5. now once all plugs are removed you can take out the long liner (just the one covering the back of the lights)

6. you will need to take out light to change bulb (3 10mm nuts) need to be removed and then there is a seal that the wires rung through in the body work, push it in towards the lights (and unplug the connector to the cables)

7. take out headlight

There are 3 fuse box on the 350GT.

1st: just beside the battery

2nd: it's in the same compartment with the battery, but you'll have to take the plastic cover off the battery compartment, and take the plastic cover in front of the winscreen (just 2 pins)

3rd: beside the Acceleration paddle, on the right side. There's a small plastic door which you can take out to access it, if not you have to take the whole plastic out.

The tail lights, you will have to take out all the plastic cover too. Just strip everything in the boot near the light area

    • Unless things that you want to do include reference to time. Simple Boolean logic is only good for digital inputs or analogues that have been thresholded into digitals. But unless you also have a timer function available (which would more ideally be located inside the program, rather than being forced to implement a timer outside the ECU and bring it in as a seperate digital for every time delay you want to implement), then you can't do some of the things that you might want to do. My PLC ladder logics are obviously littered with program blocks, because that's easier than building it all in ladder gates, but the most frequent of those program blocks is a simple timer, because you actually can't otherwise do that in ladder at all.
    • Log voltage. I'm suspecting the alternator. Or even maybe a bad earth somewhere. ie, seeing as it is rev dependent, I am thinking it is alternator dependent.
    • Yeah so N1 and any other larger than factory pump are pretty famous for pumping the sump dry...obviously we don't often get to spend 20 or 30 seconds at high rpm/full noise on the road so I'd still be suspicious that is what is happening here.
    • You are also getting pressure dips on gear shifts. They're just not dipping as far, but they're dipping quite below the amount of oil pressure you should be seeing, for how much RPM drops.   It quite little could be the oil pressure relief valve is starting to stick open a little/is slow to close.
    • Can you log battery voltage, and TPS, and put all four of those into a single image (even as split graphs)?   The oil pressure drops aren't following RPM as such. I'm intrigued if you may have a ground loop between different sensors. With the engine not running, log your sensors and for example cycle the throttle pedal. See if any sensor values flutter or move about. This won't be a perfect test either as the ECU won't be cycling all of its actuators like it would be while running. What EMTRON do you have? Do you have a link to the wiring guide for that ECU?
