As above,

Nothing about that kit is from the Z-tune except the bonnet.

Front bar is a gtr front bar with both lower lips,

Side skirts look like JDL's own take on the GTR standard skirt

Rear bar is a standard gtr rear bar.

However if they all fit up to the gtt nice and snug i think it is a good price.

I tried looking for the differences but i couldnt see it.Looked on images for the Z tune and the gtr one, and they look the same. They also fit perfectly because they're meant to be made specifically for the GT-T.

anyway i will be making purchase shortly. The guy also offered me a further discount of $1500 in total. Also i was wondering if i have to pay customs

and import duties but i hear its for purchases over over $1000. Not sure if they include the shipping cost in that amount as the price of the kit was $800 and postage being $700.

Just coz it's made to fit a gtt doesn't mean the fitment will be good, any cheap body kit will have fitment problem as cheap kits usually mean cheap/ shit moulds they ate made from so don't expect anything to line up perfectly.

Also if you can't tell the difference between a z tune and standard kit u should get your eyes checked, the differences are easy to spot.

Well i didnt manage to source out pictures which had them next to each other and i havent seen any Z tunes in Canberra not even GTR's.Im going to be optimistic that they will fit perfectly positivity is always a good thing. I will be uploading some pictures in a few weeks time when they arrive.

Nismo Z-Tune

and you've probably haven't seen any Z-Tune's around cause theres only 20 in the world

In terms of body kits, u get what u pay for. That's y genuine kits cost so much because they will always fit.

Also are u going to be moulding the rear guards into the body ?

U would be better off expecting the worst coz then everything can become a positive.

So your honest opinion do you think they would be a genuine kit

price wise they're pretty much the same as EAST BEAR, NISMO etc cant call them cheap really i just got discount because im in Australia and the seller is in Poland.

even without the discount, it's still a price bracket under Nismo and east bear.

all we are saying is it might not be a perfect fit, you might have to crack out a heat gun and mould it a little around your car.

mate that entire kit is less than the genuine z tune front bar so no, there is no chance at all that its a genuine kit. also east bear is more expensive than your kit

http://www.rhdjapan.com/nissan/r34-skyline-gt-r/bumpers

refer to the above link to see how much genuine kits will cost you.

for example, my abflug rear diffuser alone was $1600, but the fit in 100% perfect, not a single tiny gap can be found anywhere.

Im not trying to put u off buying the kit im just letting u know not to expect a good fitting kit as price normally reflects quality

I'd listen to the advice people have given you mate, $1900 for the whole kit may seem like a bargain, but if the parts don't line up as easily as the the website says it will

then I reckon you'll be looking easily at another $1900 or more just to get them fitted and painted by a shop.

if he is getting the full kit with all the guards he will need n entire respray so that will be atleast $5000

also please tell me that you are not going to put GTR badges on it

Yeah I think he is buying the whole kit Chris, so like you said it's gonna cost him a small fortune to get installed properly and painted.

Personally I'd go the Altia Aero kit if I owned a R34 - but each to there own I guess

The seller is in Poland! Wrong. Save yer dosh for purchase from a reputable supplier sir.

Cheers GW

hi guys,

was looking at buying a wide body kit for my r34 gtt and i come accross this web site http://www.topstage.com/shopping/

it looks like most of the kit is made from Cabron the prices are bit steep .

am looking for rear over-fenders prob 20mm or 50mm wide which are made from metal, aliminum the ones you can weld and not rubish FRP ect that u need to glue and screw.

couple of years back i have seen some overfender 50mm on ebay UK. cant seem to find it anymore.

metal rear wide guards, interesting, never seen these... are you sure, cause I dont know of any company that makes body kit parts in metal

needs pics to prove it...

me neither, never seen metal over fenders as a kit.

if he is getting the full kit with all the guards he will need n entire respray so that will be atleast $5000

Yh one of my mates. sourced out metals parts from an auction in japan. They were off a GTR that had been written off. What i could recommend you is if you find anyone that is wrecking a skyline you can probably ask to cut them out for you.Or if you fully serious and cashed up. Go to a metal fabricator (preferably someone with knowledge about car panels) with a set of FRP's they might be able to recreate them in metal. But as i said it could be costy

    • So now doing the change and first time dealing with rb so little nervous giving engine power and potential for screwing it up When you align all marks and then remove crank bolt, timing move little I assume you can put the bolt back in once you have removed the pully to get timing to where you want? here is pic of my both intake and exchust cam aligned, depending on angle you look they seem to be either aligned or a half tooth or so out. Any thoughts? Should you angle your face and look at each mark that way as if looking straight rather than from above as it can be misleading https://ibb.co/ZpnhcvbF https://ibb.co/4wm2wn4q
    • Thanks for the reply @GTSBoy Haven't really thought of that yet, but you are right. If the hose was damaged it should be absolutely pissing by now. I'll put some heat sleeve around it for good measure since I'm already removing the line anyway. Maybe I'll put on some of the stock hardlines if I ever fully remove the turbos again. Maybe when T51R modding the compressor housings? Might be a fun mod on GT28s for that "fake single turbo" effect.
    • Update 1: I did some work on the car already before finalizing this post and my "issues" list. I dropped the Tomei exhaust in favor of the HKS Hi Power Silent. Sounds nice and I can actually hear myself think now. Also gives me a realistic chance to legally drive without silencer inserts. A bit of cheating was necessary to still be able to mount the Top Secret style diffuser. Some malusage of washers and a bit of "convincing" toward the brackets and exhaust hanger seemed to do the trick. The shaky steering wheel has been resolved as various suspension components were worn, like sway bar bushings and link bars. Most notably the two steering tie rod ends. Had some trouble finding bushings because my sway bars are not OEM thickness, 23.x up front and 27 rear. But non adjustable, so no aftermarket I suppose. Maybe they are nismo units? Turbo oil drain hoses were definitely still the originals and are new now. Wasn't the cause of the turbo oil leak sadly. Currently removing the rear turbo because of it, I suspect the braided oil feed line is the culprit. This issue needs to be dealt with so I can work towards actually getting the turbo setup legal and inspected. Two new issues to add to the list as well. Rear Main seal is probably leaking. Time will show how bad it is, I don't really want to drop the gearbox right now just for the stupid seal. Could fix a few other things in one go once I do that. Front right driveshaft grease is going past the cv boot, so at some point I'll fix that too.
    • Ok so no 4cyl clutch... Yeah it is a factory manual. So if iam correct i need clutch and flywheel too? I can use something that suits something like R32 GTST? EDIT: https://www.ebay.com/itm/224291042776 Is this ok? EDIT2: i maybe forget to mention this(dk how important it is) but the trans will be behind RB25DET NEO(iam doing swap) It will be there for a little while. Iam planing to do bigbox or BMW tranny..
    • You're probably right about that one. Thanks for your suggestions, I hope I don't need a new 3rd brake light. Although wiring issues might arguably be worse. Right now I'm in the midst of a turbo removal because of my oil leak, other problems are going to have to wait for now.
