hi guys :)

new here, been looking around the forum for a bit

but only just joined up cause i had a reason to post

something

i recently bought an R34 25 GT, 5 speed

when you let of the throttle at anything over 2000rpm

it has a miss at roughly 1400rpm

it just like hiccups once, doesnt idle rough, and the

engine runs smooth at all other times

i havent done/changed anything yet though, thought id get some

ideas as to what it is, or if anyones had the problem before

i thought maybe spark plugs? its done 80,000 km's

and im the first australian owner, so im not sure what the

service history is like or anything.

thanks in advance

Jake.

splitfire have been around a long time and have a good rep, would recommend you spend the extra and use them

yellow jackets, splitfires, superspark just to name a few.

do your research on those brands and pricing and see what suits your budget.

theres a big thread about the coilpacks as well, do a search and you will find it :)

whilst your at it, you might as well replace our spark plugs with new ones.

since half of the inlet will have to come off and its a real b*tch on the rb2de neos

but cant really afford it. i think ill end up using

yellow jackets

and thanks, ill search for the thread and have a

read

while its off ill definitely do spark plugs too

but i was thinking maybe to change the plugs

first just in case theyre the problem

oh, and ill definitely do it all myself

i wanna learn as much as i can with this car :)
