I took a couple of photos. I might post them up but I had a smear on the lens which wasn't apparent until I looked on the computer.

when I got home from Wheels on Sunday I heard water frying on the engine

Checked it out and it seemed to be comming from the back of the block where I couldn't see or get to.

I got REAL concerned...... you'd understand if you knew my history with this GTR.

Did some further checking on SAU to see what it could be. Opinions - a hose (sigh of relief)

It turns out one of my Turbo water lines that goes around the back had a pin prick of a hole but opend up under pressure.

and you cant get to it without taking the inlet manifold off and other stuff around that area.

1 x 4" hose $8

2 x hose clamps $7

Labour $330 - Ouch!

ouch that sucks Richard, but knowing it was something fairly harmless and was fixed quickly and somewhat easily is always a good outcome

yeah, both Andrew Mark stopped like champions!

Turned out that the positive battery cable past too close the extractors, melted the insulation and earthed it out.1 new battery and a relocate for the cable and I was running again. Interestingly, the first battery was still

hot to touch 1½ later…

There was even the Range Rover club parked just down from us, you could have put both cars on display
