So I bought an R33 GTS-T the other day. Really well taken care of, had all the work done to it, 103k's on the clock. Anyway, it's got an aftermarket heavy duty clutch. While I'm cruising around and I try to shift (With my clutch definitely all the way in) I can hear this disgusting grinding sound. Pretty sure it only really happens between my 2nd to 3rd shift.

Yeah, pretty vague information, but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Kai

Try gearbox fluid, but also where does the clutch disengage/re-engage? Right at the very top or near the floor?

If it's only between two gears then its going to be most likely a synchro problem - whether that be oil related or material related, but sometimes a bad adjustment of the master cylinder can cause overthrow on the slave which inverts the fingers slightly on the clutch. More common in conversions to Silvias though so probably less likely for you
