Rb25 Box To Twin Plate Nismo Clutch Help!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.

Just bolting up a rb25 gearbox to the rb26, with a nismo G Max twin plate (push) . All new carrier, pivot ball, bearing, etc.

I havnt even bolted on the slave cylindrr and the throw out bearing is touching the clutch fingers (not pushing on them, just touching).

Is this how it should be? Or is there meant to be some kind of clearance between them.

Thanks

Yeah I can move it the other way (bearing moves away from the fingers about 10 - 20mm), but the standard position (after the spring pulls the fork back) touches the fingers ever so slightly.

Is this fine?
