When they are ready I'll drop you a PM and we'll organise a postal address so i can send them out (full details are in my first post in this thread).

Cheers

Considered making boots for the R32 shifter and handbrake? I've thought about making my own, otherwise getting my cousin to make some (upholsterer by trade) - if you're not considering it at all - would it be okay to post expressions of interest for them here at a later date?

No worries Gary, will do. I'll drop you a PM when they are ready to go.

Guys - this batch is just about ready to be sent off to the dressmaker to get sewn up, so it shouldn't be too much longer - maybe about a week.

Fastskyline69 - I'll do some investigating and get back to you. It shouldn't be a problem if you don't mind doing direct deposit or something simular - I'll just need to find out the logistics and price for postage for ya.

I'll drop yo a PM in the next day or two.

Cheers

G'day C yar, next batch should be ready for posting out this Monday :(

I'll be picking them up from the person who sews them up on Friday, and I'll be working on them over the weekend to finish them so I can post them out ASAP.

I'll put you down for a set. I'll drop you a PM when they are ready and you can let me know where I should send them.

Cheers

My cousin has agreed to make up some boots for my R32, probably next week sometime when we both get the time, I'll post pics (before/after) if anyone's interested, and also let him know if anyone else would like some, depending on interest he might agree to make some more for all you R32 owners out there ;-)

Guys,

This batch of R33 boots are ready to go and will be posted out on Monday.

Fastskyline69 - I've sent you a few emails, and will send you another one on Monday.

If anyone else is interested, drop me a PM or an email at jayson77@iprimus.com.au if my PM box is full.

Thanks guys

I just want to say congratulations to ME as I have just gone INTERNATIONAL with these gearstick and handbrake boots !!!

I recently took my first order from the USA !!! Yes, the USA !

For international guys, I am now registered with PayPal and can arrange EMS (full tracked) postage.

I was thinking about making some sheep skin/lambs wool ones up for the NZ guys cause we know how much they love sheep !!

LOL - only joking guys. But seriously, I can post to NZ without any problems.

Cheers

Jayson

G'day Gary,

Yepp, got your details, you should get the boots sometime soon as I sent almost all of them off on Monday.

If you haven't got them, or any card saying they are ready for pick up by mid next week drop me a PM. Sometimes the Postie is too slack to leave a card or the card get's blown away by the wind etc.

Cheers

Jayson

    • Tried them, they leaked. I also foolishly bought some random rubber ones that leaked too.  Genuine and not looked back.    As always though sample size of one, and I could have made a mistake installing them.
    • Technically still manual process to set it first time though
    • Shit job but not hard. I'd use a piece of wood to knock the plastic lid open to avoid damaging it, use a vacuum to clean up the fuel sender lid also so crap doesn't fall in. I'd probably do pump and filter at the same time since you're already in there, I reused my OEM sock after a quick clean since the one provided wasn't long enough. Could also hardwire your pump if you feel inclined.
    • Supercheap auto sell this: https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/pat-plusquip-fuel-tank-lock-ring-tool---universal-kit/SPO3564082.html I own this and if you HAVE PATIENCE you can remove it without snapping lines and generally being incredibly angry, then said at doing this job. Sadly I've removed the pump about 75,000 times over the years. I don't know if you're a large lad or a smaller lad but my advice to you as someone who is 185cm is if you are my height or smaller, is to sit in the boot and take your time. Yes you can put the seal on. The seal goes over the white thing/lid (you will see how it 'slots' in) then the whole assembly presses into the tank. then you screw the lock ring on. I spent so much time doing things the wrong way by trying to mount the seal into the tank first, then putting the white fuel hat on in the space provided. Put it together first then it'll all go in. But seriously be careful about removing the hoses AND where the removal tool is moving relative to the plastic pipes coming out of the lid when you've removed it. IT IS BRITTLE So brittle in fact I have two spare lids, and would recommend buying a spare and having it handy before attempting to do this. May as well throw https://justjap.com/products/deatschwerks-dw300-fuel-pump-nissan-s13-silvia-r32-r33-r34-skyline-c34-stagea?currency=AUD in the tank as well, as this uses all stock plugs and such. You may need to/strongly recommend you re-use your OEM fuel sock or use the one supplied with a length of hose so it sits at the stock height.
    • The tension is automatic....if you follow the installation instructions Self adjusting tensioners are used when the chain/belt is expected to stretch during it's service life, but the downside is the tensioner itself can fail and cause a problem, while the RB system is locked once it is installed and doesn't have that risk
