wrxhoon Posted April 29, 2004 Share Posted April 29, 2004 yes a lot more than that like cam seals , valve stem seals o rings , rocker cover gasket . basicaly it should have everything u need to do a complete rebuild of the top end , all gaskets and seals that are not reuseable . Bl4cK32 Posted April 29, 2004 Share Posted April 29, 2004 i bought a Cometic 3 layer full metal head gasket (with inbuilt orings as i understand) for less than $200. Seems cheaper than 600 for the Jap brand ones. But yer a VRS kit is ideal if u rebuild the entire top end. Valve stem seals are like 200 by themselves.... Craved Posted May 11, 2004 Author Share Posted May 11, 2004 just to let everyone know - bought a VRS kit from nissan - genuine for $321. had quotes for other brands but were around $350 ... to buy exhaust, inlet and headgaskets from nissan separate were $370 ?? but the kit included : headgasket, metal inlet manifold gasket, top/bottom plenum gasket, exhaust gasket, rocker cover gaskets, cam seals and valve seals!
