I understand that the HID globes are illegal in Victoria, how much for the lights without the globes?

Reading another thread no, it has to meet specific standards, apparently none of the R34s meet that standard.

Depends who does the compliancing.

Some require you to switch to the ADR headlight assembly which isn't xenon.

pics below, reason they are being sold cheap is due to top mount clips being broken on the passenger side headlight. other then that they are in good condition.

A bit hard to tell from the photos, but what is the actual condition of the front plastic?

Is it hazy, scratched at all or perfect?

All HID Xenon lights have to be replaced with H4 in the case of GTRs for compliance.

I have used GTT headlights and modify the inside of the head lights into Xenon ( using original ballast) and put it onto my friend's GTR34.

I've never installed lights before, so how much trouble am I gonna have if those mounting clips are stuffed?

i used glassy lite when they were on the car so they came up pretty clear, it did have a little haze on the top of both headlights but since that they seem to be all good now. wouldnt say they are factory perfect because they were on my car since 1999 lol but they are in good condition.
