R32 Boot Lid Help!

Hey

I just tryed to install a gtr boot lid to my gtst (r32)

All went smoothly expect closing the actual boot it doesn't close! So out my stock one back on and still doesn't close! I'm thinking because the car was parked on an angle so that might have caused it any help thanks!

what part wont actually let you close it? The gas struts or the actual lock itself

To be honest it just bouncier back up when I close it

And the lock doesn't make it's way down!
