When you say take the turbo off one day, then try put it on 2 days later... What turbo is going on exactly? If you're not sending your turbo away to get highflowed.

I have a freshly high flowed r34 turbo sitting in a box in my bedroom at the moment, because I wanted to try and limit the changeover time as much as possible. So ill have a spare r33 turbo left over at the end. Im not ignorant enough to think that over the easter weekend I could get a turbo high flowed one day and put back on the next if thats what you were thinking...

awesome :)

is it a hypergear OP6 highflow? I'm interested to see the results of one of those...

I may be free on easter too.

Yeh it is, I want to run a safe ish sort of tune to hopefully avoid premature engine death, so I'll probably run no more than about 17 psi.

Going off the hypergear dyno sheets they are good for 260 kw or so but I don't know how much boost that is running. I'll be happy with 240+ though.

I'll PM you my numbeR incase you are interested in having a tinker over the Easter period.

Mitch I think I'll be right to help over Easter

All my house mates and girl friend are heading down the coast but I will be working

So I'll bring some tools around and we can have a crack at it. Maybe if one of the other guys are keen 3 people could knock it over real quick

Yep, sounds good.

I've don't have a heap of tools, so if you wanna bring some so we aren't limited to one of each size socket and spanner that's cool. I also don't think I have a socket or spanner big enough for the banjo's, it's 24mm isn't it?

The only other thing I dont have is the soldering iron for the z32 afm plug, I think it was chucked when my mum decided to clean out the shed...

In regards to the other person, Randon_I_Am (Pat) may or may not be able to help out depending on what he has going on.

ok cool.

Stao from hypergear seems to think that I should be fine reusing the washers and everything from the turbo thats in the car currently, so i think im pretty right for parts etc otherwise.

I have:

z32 and plug.

Nismo 555cc injectors

Nistuned z32 ecu

nismo fuel pump

r34 high flowed turbo and oil feeding line

Turbo/exahsut gasket kit

greddy profec b

metal intake with all joiners and hose clamps

Can you think of any other little parts that I might need ontop of that stuff to get it all in?

How did you go about getting your afm in, i remember you saying something about male and female clips from jaycar?

You'll need the paper gasket for the oil drain flange on the turbo.

Also need 5L of coolant (just get teh cheapest premix bottle you can find)

And a big supply of patience lol

The gasket kit comes with the oil drain gasket

Got heaps of coolant and a little left over oil from my last service...

Anyone know the thread and size of the nuts that go on the bottom two turbo to dump pipe studs, I think I'll get some new ones...

I got in touch with Matt from nistune and he has said that it will be possible to update the afm settings and injector settings so i can limp to the tuners, if I have a consult cable.

Does anyone have a consult cable and have experience with how to change some settings on the nistune software?

Cost me $1413 inc postage for the carbotic version with a new rear main seal and the sleeve pre machined to 14mm. Definently not the cheapest clutch but should hold 350+kw should I ever wish to drop the coin for that sort of power.

I think the organic version is slightly cheaper but has less clamping capacity.
