So my horn has decided to stop working. It was working when I had my nardi on but when i put my standard wheel back onto to pass a roadworthy the horn no longer works. Ive been to told if could be the clock spring that has broken. Is there anyway to test to see if it is or not? I took the steering column apart to have a look and nothing seems broken to me. Im really stumped as to whats going on.

Cheers.

basically inside the unit is those little yellow wheels and that long cable wraps around the wheels so that when you turn the steering wheel, the cable gets pulled around the wheels and tightened until eventually its fully extended at full lock. except the cable can snap and thats what happened. it really is quite an overly complicated solution to a relatively simple problem of running power through the steering wheel.
