Help! Cannot Communcate With Ecu From Loom On Driver Side To Tune Car!

Hey guys been down to willall racing in adelaide and tried to get them to put in a z32 ecu with a nistune and z32 afm. they them told me that when they were trying to make communication with the ecu that it wasnt working and sometimes it did. what the hell is wrong? do i need to get new loom or is something loose? the guy also said that i could buy a power fc to solve the issue which doesnt make sense if u cant communicate the the pfc to tune it?

pfc has it's own hand controller, no idea what your other issue might be. I do recall something about nistune boards requiring some rewiring of the loom but other than that have a search of the site fella.

sounds like a dodgy wire somewhere, possibly in the consult port or in the consult cable itself.

Check the continuity between the Tx Rx clock 12v and earth pins on the consult port and the ecu

does anyone have a wiring diagram for the consult port? im gong to try use a multimeter to see if i get connection from one end to the other. any other suggestions?

Dw guys i found the issue to be a wire that was holding on by a single thread! all good now
