R34 Mig Weld.

Hello.

Selling my R34, lots of interest. However The bullshit carwash near Noalunga broke apart of my intercooler away.

Just a simple weld, can't sell with straps holding it together.

If anyone can help out I'll throw a carton your way, provided I can drink a few while watching.

get it up to AM performance you wont be able to mig weld Alloy

Yeah it's perfectly drive worthy.

Wasn't sure on the type of weld.

Any ballpark idea on cost Madaz ?

Not true, got 3 alloy mig welding machines at my work.

and i bet there not your off the shelf mig welder you have to put different wire through them

which most people don't have, not sure about the argon gas either

^ True, alloy can be MIG welded, but generally only suitable for thick industrial type stuff. Requires alloy wire, pure argon rather than the more common argoshield and preferably pre-heating.

For a job like this one, you would want to use a very skilled operator if it was to be MIG'ed or you could easily end up with an un-usable mess.

We have Fronius pulse mig welders and its just like welding with steel. Does heavy and light gauge stuff with ease. Not cheap though...
