Won't Resma be a overkill for a normal street driving ?

Unsure what you mean; a pad that works well from cold, all the way to 650deg seems like the perfect pad for a heap of conditions.

I'm using QFM HPX pads in my daily, it's never stopped better. The Remsa's are supposed to be even better.

dont quote me,,,,Though a full set works out about $178, Theres used on all the euro sports cars...And ive heard they wont chew through your rotors like a few other of the brands out there.

thanks guys , i just sent a PM to get an accurate quote , Also was wondering if i need a new discs with new pads or old ones shall be fine ?

So the story is like this , I bought Maxima an year ago , When I inspected brake pads were just fine . During RACV check , it came that brake pads are almost done and need replacement . Guy who sold the car to me installed the new pads and since then its squealing , initially i thought they will become fine after bedding process but issue remains and now has increased.

EDIT : Also As I am dumb with car fixing stuff , would appreciate if someone can recommend me a mobile mechanic who can d this job for me . thanks. I am on 3030 post code.

Remsa's aren't exactly used on all euro sport cars, brands like Pagid, Textar, Mintex and Brembo are used.

"Remsa are approved as a replacement pad for most euro sport cars" would be a more correct statement.

With that said, they are a good pad, inexpensive, quiet, performs well, throw relatively low amounts of dust and has wide temp range.
