How Boost Works

Sorry for the newb question

but could some one give me a simple diagram (like xxxx > xxxx . xxxx etc)

on what happens when you boost

like where it goes from the turbo with specific reference to fmic and bov (which where my boost guage is connected)

got a boost leak

if i can understand this it will prob put in right place to look

From my understanding -

wwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaa (mad turbo spool) > psssssscccccccccccchhh (release from bov if u have a fat one with trumpets)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

boooost level increasing (watch the road, not the gauge) > gauge drops back down and ready to roll back up for another psssscccccchh

Where are you located? Happy to help you find the leak or even point you in the right direction of a workshop which can assist you if you cant find it yourself.
