At the risk of looking like a dick head...I thought he was pulling my leg when he said whos going to Mexico

So I responded in a manner I though appropriate

Shane just read this and clued me in on what Mexico means hahaha

Shell, last year was my first time at f1 and i only went with general admission. this year Im doing the same except me and my brother got cheapest grandstand tickets on pit lane for Friday so we can watch the teams working and setting up the cars during practice. Can't freakin wait XD

Awesome! We had different grandstands each day and the day we were on the main straight we were directly opposite Webski and Vettel's garage!

That sounds like a pretty sweet setup :D

Im pretty keen to see if the quickest kid from queanbeyan can re discover his form and if the new boy from perth can show some talent in a mid field car

Were you there last year? What grandstand were you in?

I'd love to go again but I just can't afford it :( Skipping a year and will try to go next year!

Me too, skipping this year and maybe the next, but Monaco is on the cards at some point

    • The E39 has some pretty poor condition plastics with big scratches and fading colour. The problem is that the trim is grey and I've done some research and found a rustoleum colour that matches, but the paint is enamel and is for wood and metal. I was hoping I could thoroughly clean the parts and use a plastic primer or adhesion promoter and then spray with the enamel.  I kinda feel like the rough looking, old and scratched trim would look better than a shitty respray.  Getting good quality interior parts is hard and expensive. These two pieces that hold the chair controls are about $300 delivered if you can find a good pair. I have too many nightmare memories of a young PranK spraying interior panels and then buying replacements when they turned out terribly. Thoughts on interior trim spraying?
    • @niZmO_Man let me know if I can help here. Maybe I can assist in helping with hosting or something ?
    • Recently acquired a White V-spec R34 GTR as a barely rolling shell. Will start adding photos of the work I do and info I come across. Already have found out so much about what parts are interchangeable between other R34 models along with 32/33 GT and GTR's. Car is being built 100% by myself so much to learn from engine, gearbox, transfer, diff, wiring etc.  Also after quite a few parts, attesa pump. gaurds, bonnet, axles, dash cluster and a few more, so if someone has stuff hiding away or parting please let me know!
