Hey all,

I've done a bit of research on the pro's & con's of if it is a good idea to run a front sway bar or not for drifting & what i've found is that it is more of a personal prefrence rather than a good or bad idea.

Mine has basic mods - strut brace & coilovers but that is all.

I'd just like to know if anyone does NOT use one for drifting with their RB20 Cefiro & their thoughts?

Thanks,

That’s what I’ve gathered per the general consensus online…

I’ve taken it out & also need the car wheel aligned – am I going to get strange looks when I take it in…? Like hey buddy, you’re missing a sway bar!

I know lots of the top line drivers don’t run them, but their cars are set up MUCH better than mine…

I’ll leave it out & see how I go, I’ve just been told that it is a bad idea…

if you just testing, then leave it in and just disconnect one side. takes no time at all that way and disables the bar. then reconnect it after a session on the track and compare back to back.

i run a stock sway bar up front in mine and no bar in the rear. works well for me. I personally didnt like the feeling of no front bar but that was on my set up, all set ups are different pretty much.

deletion of the rear bar has given me so much more control at large angles
