Hi all,

Im Looking at purchasing a R32 or R33 gts-t. Ive previously own a 33 and had no problems, was a great car - regret selling it.

Im now back on the market for a skyline.

What one should i go for? id prefer either one, can anyone give me a bit of insight of some pros and cons over the two? if it helps pls vote then give a reason :)

Thanks

32 gtst are getting really hard to find a nice example. gettin REAL old now. r32 is my fav shape by far, but when its a 20 year old sports car, your really have to think twice about actually purchasing one now days.

i'd go a 33. there are so many to choose from its almost ridiculous. and prices have dropped big time

I agree mate. I love the shape only thing is there really old now so thats why i was thinking kind of more towards a R33

and?

well if a 20 yr old car is the reason why u shud buy a 33 instead of a 32 is cause of age then maybe u gotta consider what ud change even if u had bought a 32 and think about whats worth it.

probably end up changing radiator/plugs/coils/hoses/belts/turbos so by the time u knock all the stuff i didnt mention over... your basically left with as long as the car hasnt got rust and your showing a healthy compression test on the engine then why not buy a 32 if thats what uve truely had your heart set on.

This is the EXACT reason why NOT to buy the older car ya muppet!

corrected for accuracy / speech .

I of all people know this quite well with my 32. (and it is a modified resto..)

finding one that has not been side swiped, chassis rails crushed, rusted wheel arches, butchered physically and electrically is nigh on impossible UNLESS you want to import one from japan and even then you are still relying on pot luck.

go with you own gut on this. personally I like the 32 but I am also one to buy a car with the intent of rebuilding it from scratch as well.

haha relax yourself man,

If u got what i was trying to say its basically things that alot of people would change neway within a year / few years of owning a car so if its gna be changed all is left to be worried about is rust haha.

yeah i know what your saying mate. and its true. BUT if you could get around having to pay to replace/repair things that were worn due to age etc, then why wouldn't you? why not buy the newer model, and save on the maintenance if you can???

If you like 32 and can afford a good 33 then save up that tiny bit of extras Gs and buy a 34.

I helped a mate get a black Manual gt-t with 3 grand worth of leather interior made to look like 350z interior, straight body, mint paint, usual engine mods and religions servicing for 12k.
