I pulled off the oil feed line to my turbo(rb25) and found that the bolt part of the banjo fitting only has a tiny hole to let oil through, its not dirty, its just very small.

Is this normal? Some kind of restrictor?

Id like to make sure its right before i put it back together.

Also will silver solder hold ok on the fittings on the turbo lines, i can make new lines if its good.

I tried to unsolder one(need to modify water out line) and it glowed bright orange but didnt unsolder. Nearly melted it. Whats the go with that?

Small hole is normal yes. It restricts the amount of oil going to the turbo. Too much and the seals will fail. Just blow them out with some compressed air.

Not sure about the solder part, however it doesn't sound like the best option.

Well, it tells you that it wasn't silver soldered together, for a start. If it was anything similar to that it would have been brazed together, but I'd doubt that they'd even use brazing in that application.

Aftermarket braided is not the best option, but the most convenient.. New metal hard lines are best.

If you do go braided, make shure it's a teflon lined/higher temp hose, keep it away from the manifold, use heat sleeve and replace every couple of years. Oh and don't try and bend the hose too much.
