After four months of street driving, I'd like to give some track driving a go.

Is there any interest in going to Wanneroo for a day? I don't know what/how etc, and would appreciate some help in organising it.

Thanks,

Jason.

u'll needs cams approval a cams steward to over see the day, your looking at $100 plus per person for the day.

your best bet is to tag along on all fours and rotories next one thats if barbagellos raceway is still allowing them.

there was rumour they were stopping them due to damage to the track

but as Liz said Ken can answer your question in more detail.

AFARCC usually head to collie now days as to hire the track at waneroo was 2.2k last year, and i think its gone up again this year..

it costs about half of that to get collie, and hire the now needed ambo and fireys for the day..

in the end the cost saving goes to your cost, and IMHO collie is a more technical track than waneroo, i really enjoy going back to collie, waneroo while still fun is kinda boring..

collie are also all ok with drifto time..

ill let you guys know when the next one is..

Saturday July 17 is the next event at Wanneroo for the Enjo speed event series.

You only need a basic Cams license and helmet. The day is run with timing eqipment and 4-5 cars on the track at one time that are spaced out so you are running the clock.

WA sporting car club are the organizers.

motoring south west also run $10 track days which ar emostly drifter crew..

next one is onnnnn the 26th of june..

yeah collie is good, only costs $10-15 fee for whole day of you go on those days. here's an inspiring video of drifting from collie, last time i went and spectated. all the track time you could want. we were lucky, not many other cars at all that day.
