Best tyre size for r33gtst to make it look straight flush?

Something along the lines of this ..

my friend has suggested 265/35x18 + 235/40x18

OR

front and rear 235/40x18

rims size im looking at is

18x8.5+18x9.5 apparo that nice flush? not 100% sure though is all

What's the rear offset? Put the 265 rear, not the 235.

9.5 +15 all round. 235/40 tyre. Easy

Iirc blahs car in that photo was a 9.5 +15 and a 10+15 for the reAr

The car in the picture you attached is 18x10.5 (+15) w/235/40 tire in the rear, and 17×9.5 (-2 (20mm adapter)) up front w/215/45 Bridgestone Potenza tires

It's a correct fitment as per the manufactures guide, I don't give a arse what it looks like.

Yes but as well as looking far too large for the rim you also have issues with clearance etc.

Do your own research, to many opinions on tyre sizes, just go by the manufactures recommendations.

I just don't get why a rim size can take numerous rubber sizes, is the desicion looks or performance based? A tyre shop will just tell you to go with factory sepc rubber. Not taking into consideration use factors

Side wall construction, series, some manufactures sizing is differently measured.

235/40/18 is the correct size both rim width and rolling diameter. Plus it's a common size = cheap.

255's? Even 245's look too large on a 9.

245/40R17 is too short and 245/45R17 is too tall IMO, why would you run a 245?

I'd say 225/40R18. Will sit on the 8" wide rim marginally better and should be closer to the rolling circumference of a 225/50R16 and a 205/55R16 tyre which is O.E on an R33 GTS-T
