Prank - how about (if it's possible) changing the system so instead of being awarded points for posting (which has resulted in half the board becoming post whores overnight :D) to one that awards points based on length of time as a member - say 1 point per day? Obviously reducing the costs of the various shop items to a suitable level.

It might help to keep the amount of complete useless posts down, while rewarding those who've been a regular member for a long time...

just a thought. I'll shut up now and let everyone get back to whoring....:D

:D:rofl:

haha i'd be rich regardless... lol

um nah I like dave's idea, but have a different twist.

If you aren't active for more than a week, it takes off 15 points for every day you aren't active. If you don't wanna lose your points you can always bank it.

Also instead of earning points thru whoring (which if you really think about it hasn't helped this forum AT ALL, other than to inspire more useless posts about nothing (I present my own posts as an example). I reckon points should be awarded by others. The only way you earn points is by earning it from others, who may wish to reward each post you make with anything from 0 to 10 points (in increments of 10). So useless posters arent rewarded, more importance is placed on good useful posts and a poster can earn a shitload of points if everyone gives him 10 points.

Obviously points awarded to a post from the same IP don't count to stop cheating.

Also have you noticed that this points thing hasn't increased the number of posts from new people or shy people, but just started a huge post whoring run from all the regular post whores?

Just my 2c.

    • Kaizo Industries put a VIN plate over where the Nissan plate would go. It was part of how they broke the law and attracted feds going after them.
    • Reasonably hard, although I haven't run it with the new Endless setup yet. The old brakes were F50's on 335mm rotors and the car did a 1:40.6 at Phillip Island which is a reasonable time, I'm seeing high 600s on the temperature paint. A guy I know ran the Endless fluid at WTAC without issues and he was doing 1:33's I think (Evo) with a 355/332 setup. I don't get out to the track as much as I'd like but we put the car on the hoist and spanner check every bolt and re-paint mark everything, bleed the brakes, change the fuel, check the coolant system and re-bleed blah blah blah before every event. Motorsport is expensive, RB's are expensive so a couple of hours before an event is time well spent. It's also a net time saving because if you can keep your RB from self destructing it saves you time in the long term!
    • Welcome Alice......hope you have a bit more luck from here on! What was done in the build?
    • Hello! I'm new here, I have an R33 GTST that is currently being finished up! Last year was pretty rough, blew two stock turbos so I decided to build the car. Has been down since November, but I get it back next weekend!
    • Hello, I believe my car was imported to America in the 2000s by Kaizo Industries. Would anyone be able to help me find more info on them? I've only found all the basic stuff like that paul walker bnr34, them being shutdown by feds, just stuff like that. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
