Cracking 36Mm R33 Hub Nut

Im trying to crack the hub assembly 36mm nut on my r33 I'm using a big 1" ratchet snd the thing won't budge , insane , should I spray it with wd? Help please!

It's auto aswell , and when I try and break the nut there's flex in there...doesn't feel solid?

For a starters, i wouldnt use a ratchet.

Use a strong arm, and slide a long piece of pipe over it. Leverage is key.

Easiest would be to drive to a mechanic and ask them to rattle gun it loose for you. Then hand tighten it and do it when you get home.

indeed leverage is the key to loosening drive shaft nuts spray it a lot of carby clean let it soak for a couple of minutes then breaker bar plus long pole sometimes at work even my snap on rattle gun the most powerful you can buy wont unto them

I recently had the same trouble, so popped down to the nearest tyre place and borrowed a rattle gun. Mind you, they'll probably not do it for you in case something goes wrong, but rattle it off, zap it up again and drive home.

Then won't have an issue.

Dont try to get it off with a half inch drive breaker bar and extension pole - you will break the breaker bar. BTDT. Got a shop with a 3/4 drive rattle gun to move it.
