Ok,

I have an ecutalk and was flicking through the screens today and found the error /fualts page and an "FUEL TEMP SENSOR" was lit up....

WTF is this as I havnt a clue what it is & what it does?

any help would be appreciated.

Fuel temp impacts how much fuel gets delivered to the engine via the FPCU. When the sensor fails the ECU assumes fuel temp is always at 80 degrees, and delivers maximum flow. No ill effects, except perhaps a slight reduction in fuel economy.
