Woohooo.... well finally got around to having my bleed valve setup swapped for a turbosmart e-boost controller. All I can say is this thing rocks and BD4s did a great install job, I also changed my faulty ignition coils and the car now revs like a demon.

Main difference I have noticed is how fast it builds boost now and I haven't experienced any spiking or boost pressure loss at higher rpms.

I also swapped my crappy simota pod for a HKS superflow for better airflow.

oh nice...like someone said before hide it somewhere where its not too visible to thieves..since its electronic it shouldnt spike (if setup properly) there isnt too much need to view the screen so much as using a bleed valve. Looks shmick, good that your happy with the preformance :)

Hi Guys.....Yeah I know that it is pretty vulnerable to thieves on the a-pillar....this car isn't my daily driver so it's not that big a deal, but i was thinking of just putting a black sock over it if i'm in a bit of a dodgy area.

I used to get spikes up to 14.5 psi with the bleed valve (boost set to 12psi), but with the eboost I don't get any spiking and yes it is much faster and smoother delivery.

The unit is larger than your average boost guage and would need a large pillar mount to fit...not too fussed about this though.

The unit cost $749 inc gst and was about 2 hours labour to fit (about $150)
