my water temperature gauge on the dash cluster doesnt work, well it does abit, sometimes it might move just a fraction above Cold then afew minutes later it drops back to bone cold...

my power fc hand controller is showing 80 degrees at operating temp during driving,

im assuming the power fc and the gauge on the dash use the same water temp sensor?

if so then i guess my dash gauge is stuffed ?

any help or advice to fix this would be appreciated

thanks

Pretty sure it's the same sensor, the factory water temp gauge is useless anyway. I've seen mine go over 105C at the track and it was still in the same position as 80C daily driving (needle in the middle).

Yes, the 2 sensors in the top radiator hose are for temperature - 2-pin = ECU, 1-pin = gauge.

Simple way to test the sender/gauge, with ign @ ON, earth the wire to the sender - if the gauge goes full scale, then the gauge is working, sender more than likely is bung.
