R32 Gtr - Water Stream

Went to the Wheels carshow in Canberra this morning. Was an ok. car show

Got home and heard the sound of water hitting and evaporting on hot metal.

Popped the bonnet and had a small jet of water firing out from back of engine on to the firewall and splashing back on the manifold.

It isn't comming from the main thicker heater hoses, but from near the underneath the spring firing directly at the firewall.

It appears to be shooting out of the metal ??? and is on the side of the spring closest to the block.

Any one know for certain what it could be ??

By the time I got my camera it had stopped but this shows the vicinity near the rusty spring.

A bit of research and I have found a few pics on SAU that could help me BUT I still need your advice.

Inside the red/orange squares.

Do all/some of these run water and what else is in that space running coolant when fully assembled.

The water/air heat exchanger is in that area (factory oil warmer/cooler), deals with coolant and oil.

Thanks Lance. is that a pipe or a small hole in the back of the block ?

It's Got me puzzled as it was coming out in a stream like a water pistol.

Did not appear to be from a split hose (spray) more like from a small round hole with heaps of presure.

I'm certain it's going to be hours of fun in that space

I thinks those rubber lines connect to steel tubes which supplies the turbos with coolant, and the other line air pressure to wastegates

Spot on - Rubber water line of the steel tube. Small pin prick of hole opening up under pressure.
