Help With Where This Hose Is Suppose To Be Connected To

Not sure where this is meant to connect to but its not connected and i dont know how long its been off for either .......The car seams to running fine but who knows if its doing damage ...

Click on the pic and its the other end to what i have circled in RED......it's on the Oil filter side on the front diff i believe.....

Any help would be appreciated ....

Looks like the diff breather.

yep diff breather... it's not supposed to be connected to anything. Just secure it above the top of the diff.
