Carbon Fibre Wrap?

OK I know it is all personal choice but for those that cannot afford the real stuff. Any opinions on this Carbon Fibre Wrap stuff?

My roof (pearl white) has some paint peeling off and I thought I would try and stop the "rot". Its a pain when I use the car washes as I have to go easy on the high pressure water thing.

I thought that stuff was only designed for interior parts? It might not cope too well with the weather. There is always vinal wrap, but I think that looks hideous too..

ebay, 3M carbon wrap, I got some other stuff cause I wanted a colour, most of the car has been done and is standing up good so far and have had a few good comments on it even though it's a fairly ruff job, still better then the paint was though

get the 3M wrap.. i had this on my s2000 boot and bonnet.. looked great.. but make sure u get the 3M one cause ive seen a few other people try other stuff and a few months down the track.. the got bubble and cloudy white patches started to appear,, my 3M wrap was on my car for 2 years and had no dramas.. didnt fade, peel or bubble..

Whilst I have only had interior parts wrapped in 3M carbon I have seen plenty of quality external installs here in Brisbane. I would say the vast majority of us Brisbane SAU members use Stephen @ Wrapture Styling for all of their needs. Check out his website (http://www.wrapturestyling.com/) and he is also on FB. Loads of images to feast your eyes on. Been in Sydney distance will/could be a problem for you but if you talk to Stephen perhaps he can recommend someone for you? Good luck but be warned, carbon wrapping is addictive!
