Hi everyone :) I am new here and I just bought a black 1998 GT-T 2dr and I was looking for a East bear bodykit to put on it,

I want to convert the front to GTR so I already bought the bonnet from car mate so I still have to find the front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper.

Please if anyone knows where I can get it from let me know

Thanks

Hey,

Im looking for an East Bear kit atm too. So far ive found 2 places in Aus u can get it. Problem is its not cheap (quote from powerplay for front bar, frp hood clear indicators @ $3600 not including delivery!!).

Anyways these are the places ive found so far:

Powerplay (Sydney)

C-Red (WA)

http://www.c-red.com.au/

Japan

As Alex said - they are extremely ly ly ly...expensive...might as well save up and get a GTR...after the cost of the full kit, freight and getting it properly painted and fitted, you're looking at big money!!

East bear is really expensive man. You can achieve almost the same results if not better with other kits. I have the kit from JDL which i bought two months ago however my car has been damaged by a garbage truck. I can offer you for $1200 or ono. It contains the two front fenders, front bumper, front bumper splitter, and side skirts.

i cant figure out a way of putting the images here since it a new layout and everything

im not really a fan of making a gt or gtt look like a gt-r, there are some great body kits that are made for gtt's and will fit far easier than the gt-r style ones which require new fenders, bonnet, bumpers ..

gtt's are great looking cars as they are, enhance them with body kits made for them rather than try to make it look like something its not :)

Just my opinion anyway, i used to drool after a gt-r's looks too :)

I personally love the look of the impul and altia? (some know them as nismo kits) for gtt's, have a look at them if you haven't already!

top secret has a pretty nice front bumper too.

If you want the gt-r look on the front you could even just get a gt-r style bonnet, gtt bumper and those moles as well... if you can get what im saying. I like that look alot, somewhat gt-r like but still distinctively gtt ;)

itll be a lot cheaper than a east bear kit both to purchase and fit, and you can use the saved cash for some performance bits :D

if you're dead set on the east bear kit - as previously said, nengun and east bear themselves, i believe you can sometimes get some of the parts off the japanese auction sites? like yahoo auctions or import monster but not 100% sure on that. not too sure if c-red still bring them in.

good luck :)!

i dont mind GT/t-GTR conversions. As long as you DON'T actually put a gtr badge on them. you're not saying you have a gtr but implying you own a gtr is ok (lol).

i just think the GTR front bumper alone, or more specifically the nose piece around the grill, transforms the entire face of the car to a whole nother level of aggressiveness.

miscellaneous GT/t.

you know the nose piece where the bonnet and front bar meet between the headlights. i LOVE that on the gtr. dont know why

^ totally know what you mean about the gt-r's front bumper :)

you can achieve a similar but distinguished look by combining a bonnet mole, gt-r bonnet, and normal gtt front bumper

my main opinion is that although the gt-rs front bumper and general look is awesome, the best kit for that purpose (the east bear one), or doing a "conversion" with the guards and whatnot is extremely costly, and you can get a very nice gtt for far cheaper with standard gtt kits. just my opinion though :)

and yes. NO GT-R BADGES.

You can try just a GTR style front bar made for the GTT.. I think they do the job without having to spend big bucks on a GTR conversion..

Heres a pic of mine, the bonnet lip is yet to be installed tho...

    • It only looks tidy, as most of the stuff that was on the whole back wall, is now in the trailer to go to the tip, or has been shoved in my 2.2x2.4m "Spare parts room", and now I can't get to anything in there Ha ha ha I could definitely do with a bit more space, but I'd just end up with your problems I'm going to enclose the car port beside the garage, and move a lot of stuff into it I think. OR... It will be setup as a fabrication area, and the main garage will have parts storage in it. I'm not sure yet... Need some pictures of that big shed you've got with the bikes and Skyline in
    • No. I think it's gone. 😭 I think you can get body coloured ones on eBay so I think I'll get one of those... Or just hang a red ribbon from the hole and whack a TOW sticker next to it.
    • Can't say I've had a bad experience with one on my car, then again it only gets washed once or twice a year... The wheels on the other hand, get a good spray often due to my shitty dusty pads.
    • @MBS206 thats pretty neat and tidy to me!  I'll get a photo of mine when I'm out there next. It might require multiple photos to understand the scale of the atrocities though... In total I have 4 sheds of varying sizes and layouts. Main shed is 14x8, second shed is 3x8, third shed is 11x2.5, fourth shed is around 6x4.  All are pretty much full.   The main goal of my cleaning tsunami is to make the main shed predominantly car and motorbikes only. Second shed is my metal fab room (2 x bench grinders, drill press, bench belt sander, metal band saw, scrap metal storage and some of my garden tools.  3rd shed is more bigger garden stuff, storage for engine crane, jack stands, concrete grinder, concrete mixer, air compressor lives there, and it now has two 2mx2m pallet racking shelves with itemised boxes holding building stuff, electrical stuff, plumbing stuff, etc, etc.  The 4th shed is Ryobi electric ride on mower, mini boom sprayer, ancient Kubota tractor, more garden stuff!  I have got a lot of shit....  Then there's the pool house (8mx4m) and the pool pump shed (4mx4m).  I built all of the sheds over the 11 years we've been here.  The main shed was a Ranbuild kit, the rest are all custom made to fit the areas available. Building the main shed taught me a LOT as I had no idea about building anything prior to that!  I've still got one more in me. It will be my man cave which I poured the extra concrete for way back when I poured the concrete for the main shed. The idea is the Skyline will be a centre piece of the main cave once (if...) it's finished.  I told my now 14 year old son yesterday that I will 100% drive him to his year 10 formal in 2 years. Still a long way off but at least I now have a date to work towards! 🤣
