just wondering on how to go about making these fit?

ive been told 8' wide will fit fine?

8 will fit in the front and upto 10 on the back. If they dont then just get the guards rolled.

Nah 8' won't fit at all. 8" does though...

I have 17x8s with 235/45s and they catch the lip on the outer guards at the front (car is lowered). No problems at the back.

The wheels on my soarer seem to match up on my skyline quite well, until you try and roll the front wheels and notice they are touching the calipers... set of spacers fixed that problem tho... I think as long as they dont stick out too much you will be fine... just get spacers to bring them flush .

Cool, yepp 8's will fit. Not sure about the 30 offset...

I think GunMetalR33 has 8 with 30 offset, and I think they JUST hit the front calipers. I'll have to ask him next time I see him.

Do you know what car they were off of?

they brand new jayson not a scratch on them $720 for the set

im sure small spacer can be made up (a few mm) that should help them clear it if it scrapes

Just had a quick look, and the www.takakaira.com site says the 8 and 9's on the R33's are a 31 and 38 off set, so I think you'll be OK. You might need a small spacer, but that should be no problem.

Naa, you shouldn't have to roll them. Andrew has 19 x 8's on the front with 245 rubber and it's no problems. But he is still at stock height... I think he has 19 x 9.5 on the back, and 265 rubber !!

Damn they are big... He may come along in late May when you come up so you can have a quick look then, but I dare say you'll have the mags by then

No I don't have my guards rolled, but they will be hopefully in the not too distant future. All I did is the old 'cut the paint along the seam' trick and carefully bent the lip up and out of the way. It still touches but no longer grabs, and the paint on the guard is still fine. I'm planning on a full respray in the not too distant future though, so I'll be getting the guards rolled a touch then.
