Has anyone here fitted one of these? I ordered one and it arrived last week, but there are no brackets on the car to clip the cover on to. The battery side has several protrusions from the firewall plastic trim to clip the cover on to, as well as a plastic bracket on the engine side of the battery well. There is none of this on the brake/clutch master cylinder side. I have emailed the seller, but I am guessing I will need to make up these brackets myself somehow??

You will also have to trim the panel that goes from the strut tower back to the firewall.

You need to use tin snips and cut about 2cm off the metal wall around the brake boost, master clutch etc

As long as you use one clip to hold it down and use the rubber strip to go over some the the rear it will be fine.

Ok, thanks guys.. i will see what the seller comes back with and have another look at it on the weeked (or maybe on ANZAC day).

i trimmed the edge of the plastic panel off rather than cut the existing steel. made it so it is a tight fit, no dramas at all

if you only cut the rubber mounting lip and overhang off the front edge of the panel, the rubber seal still overlaps it and holds it in place, even with just the one trim plug securing it in place

I would prefer to cut the plastic rather than the steel.
