Weird Boost Curve On Rb26 With -7S

car has basic bolt ons, running -7s with the normal actuator it comes with. Fitted with a blitz spec r boost controller set to 86% duty. What causes the boost curve to waver so much?

Gain on boost controller is set high.

Would fitting a restrictor to the pressure line going to the solenoid do much?

Gain too high, it's hitting your boost limit and cutting boost then building too much over and over again.

i understand the gain is too high, so i'll turn it down. But for me to run stable 18psi can i get away with putting a restrictor inline and lowering the gain settings? Or is it more likely i'll need to replace my actuator with 14psi ones?

with gain lowered, no reason u can't run 18psi stable without inline restrictor or upgraded actuators

make sure actuators have correct preload
