SAU extremely slow ???

I've noticed over the last 2-3wks that SAU has become really slow for me to load. I experience this both at home and work (im on 512k ADSL at home and 4-10mbit at work) and get the same sorta slowness on both connections.

Pings and Tracerts look fine but throughput is shocking...

Other sites I use daily load nice and snappy (www.whirlpool.net.au, www.overclockers.com.au, www.news.com.au, etc etc).

Has anyone else noticed this or is just me and my old age ?

yeah i got the same problem, sometimes when i load the page it takes forever and i got cable, also when i post it says page cannot be diplayed, and search doesnt work most times.

this is nuts, the server is WAAAAAY stronger than what we have going through it atm... and by the sounds you guys have had this problem since before the points system came into play?

It could be bandwidth, not server load. Today has been the quickest day for SAU pages loading in prolly the last 2-3wks.

Ive noticed things being slow, though at the same time, it seemed to be the optus int. pipes from what i could tell.

The load on the box is not too bad, ive tweaked *almost* everything, but we'll be moving to 2.6 and apache 2 shortly, from which im expecting a nice increase.
