hey has anyone mounted their oil cooler to their front mount? my braided lines were cut too short by previous owners to move anywhere else and I cant afford new lines. I went for a drive after fitting it and it obviuosly heats up my front mount but only the half its on. Do you think will be an issue in the long run? My car currently will sit on 80C standard drivng on the streets or drifitng.should i be worried for it to increase alot? I also have a 16" spal fan for extra cooling

Surely you have enough lines to accommodate some standoffs so that there is at least a small gap between the oil cooler and the fmic. If your lines are that long will the oil cooler not fit in the rf guard?

sounds more like you thought that was the easiest place for you to mount it cause your using cable ties through your FMIC...

Am I right?

I just LOL'd

On a more serious note, what does water temp have to do with intake temp if the oil cooler is against a FMIC? Should be worrying about that and not water temp

Yeah oil cooler, usually hot, trying to transfer heat out of the oil into the air.

intercooler trying to stay cool to ''cool' the intake air...

wait your solution is to put a heater on your cooler...

just think about that one for a sec...

But as long as your water temp is fine, nothing to worry about???

this site does bring entertainment alot lately and I came here to take in knowledge
