Hey,

Im trying to remove the air box on a r33. I have found four screws/bolts from the exterior and removed them. On the interior there are another 4.. Do i have to remove them? I tried but not of my metric sets would fit and the adjustable spanner couldnt grip..(they r on really tight). Even if i could get the top 2 off, i doubt i could get the bottom 2.

Any suggestions?

No you don't need to remove the internal ones, there is a hose clamp on the bit of rubber pipe between the AFM and the air box, losen this off and then wiggle the pipe until it detaches from the airbox. Airbox should then lift out pretty easily. from memory there are 4 screws holding it in. Two at the front down behind the head light, one at the back near the strut tower and one down the side near the boost solenoid.

Hope that helps.
