Fark, my webserver just went down... i'm onto it. should be back up shortly.

edit: i've just attached it into the post. splice_exa from clubpsi / nissanexa.com will be helping with the vinyl cutting... if it goes well he can handle any stickers you guys decide to get. he can also do other things like make the white, a metallic silver (which looked great on my old exa btw).

Spotted 2 young blokes in their R32 yelling at some lady the lights on Marion road.... I believe they said HO. :)

ive got a HO scale train set do u think they were asking for more track :O

Howie - yeah i saw that thx had to go back a page looking good

Howie, I know for a fact someone on here has the font because I have an SAU sticker done in it. I believe someone in the NSW chapter might be able to help, I'll see if I can hunt something down :)

those stickers you speak of are from sau car club in nsw i think. cost $5 shipped. christian (prank) use to sell them but i dont know what happened, his thread was just inactive for a while despite ppl's demand for them. so in saying that, if you can get them for $5 that would be neat or else i think its too expensive hence why i didnt personally get one done in the past cause it was too costly for a sticker.

If that's proper vinyl sticker @ $5 bucks shipped, i'd say grab them if you still can. Last time I did the nissanexa.com stickers, they were about $10, and about double that for silver metallic.

Anyhow, splice makes some awesome stickers (he did all the jms cars for autosalon last year), so i'm going to stick with him for this run.

Heslo if you can get a hold of the font, that would be awesome.

Nozilla, i'm more inclined to go with the simple web one also. I was thinking of the big SAU logo for the rear window, but i've a feeling it might be a little too much. Might just grab a few of the web ones and just see how it looks on the car first.

spotted MISS33 at maccas enfield on sun nite in the drivethrough, i was behind her n dunno if she saw me.

then while ordering my food, the chick in the drive through window goes to me 'u got a hot car'

:ermm:

i bet she didnt say that to miss 33

I spotted a Ceffy helping out a broken down Subaru Brumby last at ~17:30 last night in Mawson Lakes.

And i spotted Vange this morning at ~9:00 on Main North Rd near Sefton Plaza, heading south, as i was going the other way to work.

Saw a silver Stagea, turn from sturt rd, onto marion road, heading south.

Last night, around 5:30 pm.

Sounded mean.

I seem to be seeing more ceffys too lately....

    • What blows me away, is watching some of the US guys, like Tony Angelo at Stay Tuned. LS1, buys a set of heads for $1200, drops a mild cam in, pulls all the electrics, drops a basic inlet manifold with a carb, MSD thing for spark, and roll it out to make 550hp.
    • God I love shiny engine parts 🥰 Are you looking for more horsetorques in the mid range? (Smaller cam) Or just more horsetorques every where? (Big heads and bigger revs) Assumption: they were not bought late night shopping on the interwebs after drinking too many beers, which is typically how I pull pins on things......🤣 The evolution of your car is coming along nicely, I sometimes wish I didn't get bored with my cars and keep flipping them, maybe the MX5 will be different
    • I got the hazards working! Turned out it was disconnected! Indicator stock still isn’t working. I took the steering shroud off and there seems to be a third connection missing I see two small white connectors but they don’t fit the indicator switch unless they need a short lead to convert the connector type. Can someone point me in the direction of the wiring diagram for the indicator switch?   https://share.icloud.com/photos/0e8ReiFSLBVJsTPUKKfA_1IdQ
    • All of your suspension bushes/bolts etc, should also only ever be tightened when the car is sitting with full weight too.   IE, jack it back up, shove a heap of stuff down so you can lower the wheels onto so the car is "on the ground" but you have room to get under it.   It's why when properly done, you should be able to remove the shock and spring, but the arms won't go to 100% droop. If you don't do the above, you'll destroy your bushes.
