Front round indicators for 400r style bar

Hey Guys,

I'm fitting a 400r style front bar with the recessed holes for the front indicators and was wondering where locally I can source some indicator lights.

Also how do you mount them in the holes?

You can get them from UAS in Sydney....Pricey though $150 each. Check the bar carefully before you pay for it . Those lights are a push in...twist to lock idea and if the bar is not well made in these areas you are in for some hassles. The holes for the lights must be the right size with 3 cutouts , glass should be about 3 to 4mm thick around the holes. My bar failed miserably in this area ...amongst others. Good Luck

I just used $5.00 a pair clear trailer lamps.

All moot now as I smashed the shite out of my bar.

I can't drive for shit.

These ones look ok, they are good solid quality and use real globes not those nasty festoon things. They cost $40 each they are a trailer light,

Get clear nismo ones, I was lucky enough to have them on my GTR when I bought it - or, I've heard that FTO ones will fit too and are cheaper.

get the clear or amber.. from the GTR indicators, and take out the lens bit... they are a direct fit.

Thanks for the input.... I was thinking about the gtr clear indicators from UAS (I actually purchased the Trial Front Bar through them) but the sales guy at UAS couldn't tell me how they fit on the bar without the plastic grill they are normally attached to for a GTR style bar.

I will wait till the car is back from the smash repairers on Tuesday and make sure of the size before purchasing $300 bucks worth of indicator globes.

I think I may be able to get them for half the price from BD4s in Gladesville, they mentioned they could give them to me cheap when i was there last week.

If anyone has a pic of how they actually mount in the holes that would be great!!

Basically I had a GTR front bar on mine, with the proper GTR indicators. The panel beater just took the lens out of the surrounds, and they seemed to fit right in my 400R bar and look nice with the clear. He may have used some silastic in behind but basically they look like they belong there.
