Nah Marko. The 5's and all the pipe work will go on a shelf in the garage all wrapped up. The condition is that this precision must beat the -5's in all areas!

Jez matched the -7's with a 6262, you'd think I can match -5'a with the next size up.

Also, spoken to Yavuz about engineering it AND passing emissions. That was another 'condition'. Both he said would be no problem.

the turbo size doesnt matter much for emissions testing, bigger is better in that regard as it doesnt come on boost during the test.

cams are another matter, you dont want big cams when going for an emissions test. good cat and some E85 will make passing pretty easy.

mine passed with the 3L and 35R on a euro3 cat.

Oh i know, but when a little SR is beating your -5 graph both down low and up high with one of these things, not to mention Jez's result it's really saying something.

If it's a huge flop then nothing is stopping from bolting the little baby -5's back on.

The overlay graphs from the other day seem to suggest there is not as much in it as everyone is saying, at least @ 20psi - and given you will run more with both...

Big call you are making here.

Lucky you still live with ya mum.

I reckon the -5s will fall over at 25-26psi and the PBT will b good for 30+!!!

f*k -5s....

Just because you can't fix your 40rwkw hole

Plus for a car that gets street/daily driven running that type of boost is just asking for problems IMO. So much stress and pressure on the entire system... Not to mention if you do track days as the heat would also be a factor to consider. Hence all these Time Attack cars you see running 30psi+ are generally one-lap wonders before the heat sets in. You won't see them doing 5-10 hot laps :)

Just because you can't fix your 40rwkw hole

I no, i mite one day come to like them if I can sort what ever is wrong with the dam things.

Anyone got any sudjustions ?
