Yes, as stated previously, good ums need to get out more.

Problem is they cost alot now and people are wary of walls.

Twin EFRs now?

After years of struggling with twins and getting all the awesomeness of power and response with a well matched single why would he go back? :D

A true RB26DETT, stroke or not stroked needs to have 2x turbos.

If not, he essentially has a RB25DET with the VCT deleted, solid lifters and a stroker kit.

A real GT-R has two turbos.

Sweet, so all he needs now is VCam and it will be perfect?

Jun 280deg man cams, petrol tuned to at least .7λ, half cage and Bee-R limiter?

I love that it had the correct number of turbochargers...

And when it had the “correct” number of snails it drove the worst and made the least amount of grunt.

God that setup was woeful!

    • I spent the entire of the long weekend going through my garage and I'm now, after 3.5yrs in this house, able to fit a car in. The garage is quite long and the back half has a high enough ceiling for a 2 post lift but it's going to just take too much space and I don't think I'd be able to get around the car if it was in the air. So, in comes the quick lift. It looks perfect. High enough to do most things, I reckon even getting a gearbox out would be doable.  Does anybody here have one? They're fairly cheap (~$3k) considering...  https://www.dtmtrading.com.au/product/quick-lift-portable-vehicle-hoist-3500-kg-worksafe-approved/ I'm also a bit of a non risk taker so I'd probably still use stands when under!
    • Well now we all see it! I did the same. Then cut it out. Then melted half of it. Then discarded it entirely. So... you're in good company.
    • I just replaced the god awful, sagging, crunchy bonnet insulation. It's something nobody but I see but it's been at me for a while.
    • yeah the south island is stunning, the wifes family is from the west coast down there so we were down there for christmas.   a high 10 would be a stretch but hilarious if it happened. fourth gear is its party gear, i don't have traction to throw more at it at lower speeds. I've found passengers don't think its that fast, i think it's because it has a digital dash so they can't see the needle move so they have no sense of speed
    • You have (externally anyway) a lot of patience!  At the very least your patience has rewarded you financially even if you decided you were over it!! I only just read your first experience of seeing the car, that would have been amazing!  Well documented too! It must be exciting knowing there's only 10 months left until you can get it on a boat and on it's way!!!???
