OK. All speeds and ratios are based off using a 265/35X18 tyre, an RPM limit of 8000 RPM and the use of 4.11 diff gears.

OS GIKEN Sequential - the stock ratios given when ordering one it looks like

1st 2.609 = 90 km/h
2nd 1.934 = 121 km/h
3rd 1.521 = 154 km/h
4th 1.210 = 194 km/h
5th 1.000 = 234 km/h (stock ratio)
6th 0.852 = 275 km/h - 3158 RPM at 110 km/h

I personally like this option. Its a tad shorter in 1st and still can cruise on the freeway without spinning its head off

1st 2.890 = 81 km/h

2nd 1.891 = 124 km/h

3rd 1.468 = 160 km/h

4th 1.174 = 200 km./h

5th 1.000 = 234 km/h (stock ratio)

6th 0.757 = 310 km/h (stock ratio) - 2806 RPM at 110 km/h

Stock ratios on a 32/33 are;

1st = 75 km/h

2nd = 120 km/h

3rd = 180 km/h

4th = 234 km/h (stock ratio)

5th = 310 km/h (stock ratio)

OS GiKEN 5 speed is

1st = 87 km/h

2nd = 138 km/h

3rd = 190 km/h

4th = 234 km/h (stock ratio)

5th = 310 km/h (or 290 km/h if you get the OS giken 5th option IIRC)

PPG sets:

5 Speed (1-4 helical dog set)

1st = 89 km/h

2nd = 143 km/h (farken mega tall)

3rd = 189 km/h

4th = 234 km/h (stock ratio)

5th = 310 km/h (stock ratio)

For the sake of it ill throw in the Getrag PPG 6 speed. These are mad! This is with 3.545 diff ratios.

1st = 85 km/h

2nd = 124 km/h

3rd = 174 km/h

4th = 226 km/h

5th = 272 km/h

6 th = 327 km/h - 2653 RPM at 110 km/h

Argh, number crunching. Time for a beer :D

Don't have to use the R3C clutch...other options out there.

I also like the option 2 OS88 ratios. However, the "UK-spec" ratios are even better:

2.9966 (92kph)

2.05 0 (114kph)

1.521 (135kph)

1.210 (183kph)

1.000 (229kph)

0.784 (278kph)

I can't remember the number of times I have hit 300 or had the space to do that

I'll never get there, but it's the cruising rpm. We still drive to Vic for DECA's. I ain't sitting in the car for 7 hours at 3500 rpm.

in all fairness, when I removed my clutch I was informed that the thrust bearing was undersized which made it very hard to drive...pretty much every mechanic and tuner that drove my car stalled it, was that bad.

thrust bearing or not, I put it equal to that dog shit JB whatever he wants to call it.
