I think you'll find the base circle is smaller on the JUN cams which will make it look pointier (more triangular).

It's just the lift vs duration that giving them the shapes they are

Going down to the engine builder today to see where that's at. The only thing left is to order a head gasket as we don't know how thick to go before the dummy assemble. That's about it. A fitting and lines here and there then drop it all in.

It's going to be run in on the dyno. Check mixtures then go put a few kms on it. So basically trailer to dyno (by no means this 2.4% throttle 1500 km rubbish), check, 500 kms of twisty windy with varied loads (so drive to Mac Pass and belt up that a few times) then drive back to UE the next day and turn the wick up. HURRY UP!!!!!!

more like.. trailer to dyno, bed in brakes new brakes, fap over working car. Dyno next day for powers!

Can it all be done in one day?

Get there first thing, full result by 10 pm that night?

Let's just say the only thing good about it is that I can save mega cash for the GTR :)

You know exactly how it is!

I wanted go go for a month or so (mainly for the fishing) but 17 wanted SME to pay for me, SME said that if 17 wants their assest they would need to pay, 17 had a sook and said they couldnt afford to pay, hence Im still in Sydney, Ha, look at them now, undermanned and no soil or Q & A element with any experience.

I hear its arse.

3.5 weeks. I'll try but I highly doubt it.

Fingers and toes crossed mate.

Haha yea it's border line retarded, first off there was enough planties, now there is ONLY 2 dump trucks... And we have 9 mechanics and 3 electricians. But they still wanna send more tradies!

They money they coulda saved on paying all the extra bush pay for people they don't need they coulda sent more of you blokes.... Oh wait, we're not even getting bush pay next week...

Good work 6ESR

    • Ya thankfully I've been able to drive it, it's pretty fun however I noticed yesterday while driving to work that my left side of the car is very wobbly, like any bump I go over it jolts the whole vehicle and pulls the steering wheel, I kicked the wheel a few times once I got home and it's a very distinct metal on metal clunk, so I guess I need to take a look at my suspension, maybe it's a control arm bushing or tie rod
    • With Tyroola, they're probably 10 years old. It's already pretty clear that they've given the job of copywriting their adverts to an artificial stupidity (which could be a Year 9 dropout, or someone recently arrived to Oz with almost no English).
    • "Here's how it works: Buy a set of four Pirelli tyres." Hey I think these guys are on to something 🤣
    • Absolutely! I've been in love with them since I was a kid. I remember doing a school essay on Humvee's back in grade 5 haha. I always wanted one, but didn't have the space nor the funds. With us now looking for another larger home with a larger garage, I'll have room to park it. They have also gone down considerably in price. The US army has been phasing out Humvee's, so they're flooding the market which also brings down H1 prices.  It shouldn't be a problem to drive around here, I live in the suburbs. I would absolutely not buy one if I lived in a city though. They are known to be terribly unreliable. People often swap out the original 6.2/6.5L for a more reliable Duramax.  H1 and Humvee's are identical, minus the fact that the H1 has a dash and seats. It sadly also makes the H1 more expensive. I've driven both and the Humvee interior, or lack thereof makes it extremely loud and unpleasant to drive. Don't get me wrong, the H1's interior is horrendous, but at least it's present. Most do a custom interior in a Humvee which I'm also more than happy to purchase.
    • Then I realised it was just a typo. I was hoping for a set of Pirellys for my 5 series.
