I decided to not do anything with TB at this stage, as I don't anything proper to clean it etc. so I thought I'd just go along with the Procedure.

Well, that was an epic fail. I couldn't get it to do anything, I must not be timing it correctly or something, or I'm retarded. Is it usually pretty tricky?

Timing can be tricky but can be done regularly with practice. You may be counting too quick.

Nick down to Autobarn/Supercheap etc and grab a can of Nulon carby/throttle body cleaner. Should be around $12 and you won't have to touch the butterfly to clean it

As Cam said; it can be a bit of a faff.

It took me a few goes to get the timing right; be patient and try again.

Yeah thats what I was afraid. I could be counting to quick, My brain is thinking I've got to do it within 5 nanoseconds... lol...

I shall give it another whirl though.
