hey guys

Tonight i was driving along - heard a bit of a niose...

now when i am driving and put the excellerator down the revs rise butt he car does nothing - then it's like i just released the clutch slow...

If i stop and put it in first and eas clutch out nothing happens - just revs then finally it's like leting clutch out slow....

to me this seems like the clutch is gone? Or does it need to be adjusted (someone told me some can be adjusted). I hope it's not a new clutch job

any idea's experiances?

you can adjust the clutch pedal as well.

Maybe it's not working properly.

i think the clutch is finished and you should try to drive it to your mechanic and get a new one or try to have the hydrolic piston adjusted like i have to do every few thousand k's

yup, your clutch is slipping. You will notice there is no freeplay at all on the pedal.

Assuming there is enough meat left on it and it has not been adjusted a few times before your local mechanic should adjust it for you free of charge.

If they dont, find a new mechanic as it takes less than five minutes.

Experienced this problem first hand and had to push a bloody whale (R33) up a hill on the freeway because of it~! @!$@!#$

i will probably by a eXedy one, nothing too expensive just somehting fairly heavy duty - anyone know a fairly cheap place to pick on up?

Why would you get a BB...maybe for track use...but for the street?

Get a nice heavy duty spring loaded clutch..perfect for the streets.

bleed the clutch first and then replace the fluids, if its still furbaring up good chance ur clutch is screwed
