Now, A while ago I would have said GTR32G was the best around, but I'm not if it's still local after the sale. Reason I'm asking is I'm trying to find a couple of immaculate cars for a few features. I'm open to serious suggestions. :) Car must have the following: Decent Powah... 300+kW Look the part... Autosalon is NOT the part. Owner has to be available for about 3 hours for a shoot and also must be ok with their pride and joy being on display on in a Singaporean/Japanese magazine. Favour will also be given to cars that get real usage. i.e. circuit or drags. Feel free to post pics and get your boxing gloves on as to who has the BEST GTR in town :P R31 GTSR, R32 GTR, R33 GTR, R34 GTR, R35 GTR and of course Classic Beasts are welcome too :D *ding ding ding*
My old GTR32G should be in Western Aust by now, so no longer in NSW Can bring the R35 out for some photos if you want Matt, has some WORK 20inch rims on it now, exhaust mods, larger front diffuser. and engine bay mods are getting planed. Also can bring out DR GTR again if you want R34 V Spec II Nur factory built R1.

Superjet owns RH9GTR? I remember seeing that car about 10 years ago and absolutely loving it! Does he still frequent these boards? I'd love to get in contact with him!

That's a bit weird Matt as the car used to be owned by me with the plates GTR32X and it was silver... I think ur thinking of RH9 the purple 34.. Cause Paul has only had RH9GTR plates on that car for about 2.5 years now.

Anyways my brothers Evo is now complete if ur interested in shooting that.

Genuine Evo 2 with a pretty built motor.

I think you are getting paid too much Brian :)

GTR32G (brians old r32) is still local at the moment.

I see the owner daily.

It's sitting around at the moment, the new owner wouldn't mind doing it, or giving me the car for the day if his not around.

Pm me of you really want that car and I'll assist you in organizing it.

Hi Brian, let me know when the mods get done :) Send me some pics in the mean time, I haven't actually seen this new toy of yours yet.

The RH9GTR I was thinking of was a white R32 with about a billion nismo parts and a couple big arse snails. it might have even been an N1. Not sure. That car probably doesn't exist any more, or has changed hands a number of times since then. Now that I think about it, i think the plate was just 'RH9'.

Hey Brad, that'd be cool if we could tee something up. Is your workshop the one near the driftmob boys?

I've been asked two provide a few features for a Singapore/ Japanese mag. I know I know.... the irony of the azn's wanting. to see what Aussie what Aussie power is. I tying Its a good sign that our scene is growing to the point where The rest of the world wants to take note.

Chris, there's a contact form on my site in my signature.

Or.... Matt @ matthewEveringham dot com.

Keep the car submissions coming people. I'm not limited to 1 car and I love seeing all your rides :)

Is that exactly how your email address is written?

i dont want to send the email to the wrong account

Uwish... YES. I posted with spaces so spambots wouldn't automatically pick up my address and add to spam lists ;/

KSR Is definately on the list. :D

First shoot from here is planned for sunday. I'll keep the car a suprise for now. As i said before, don't stop submissions, I'm not limited to one car. This is an awesome thread to show off some local talent too :)

I got contacted by superjet760 earlier in the month regarding some parts; I believe he still owns the R32 that is running 8's, number plate is RH9GTR. He's still around these parts

The (other) GTR with plates just RH9 was that Midnight Purple II R34, right?

    • This was a huge help.  We followed the steps,  although shifting into 2nd was actually into 3rd for us,  and 1st was into 2nd ( steps 9 and 11) .  The long flash was the 4th flash.  So shift solenoid A is possibly the culprit.  Is this inside the transmission itself? Or is it accessible by just front the pan? Or is it bolted to the outside of the transmission?  Thanos for your help everyone
    • Can you enlighten me on your best practice regarding these hoses? I don't wanna make the same mistake if you already got a better solution.
    • I have some silicon hoses already, for example engine to watercooler. But yeah, I get the sentiment. The lower intercooler silicon hose is drippy too, despite not being very old. Does anyone except Nismo make these same lines out of rubber? Long term I think they'd be the better replacement, especially since the car won't live as hard a life anymore as in the past nor be driven as often.
    • I know most issues are just age related. But for example the turbo oil drains, there is dash adapters for these and you can just make a braided teflon line for them and (probably) never have them leak again. Also not terribly expensive. Can you even get the factory hardlines from new? Or are they repairable if they break?
    • I know it'd be much much easier with the tool. I hope I can find one that won't take 3 weeks to get to me an isn't a "Asian models kit" that has tons of (to me) useless adapters for a load of cash.   It's a summer project/fun car. I do wanna enjoy it, without endless downtime over and over. So yeah I would even go and buy an engine crane + stand to save myself the trouble of hard to reach or unreachable places going bad later on. Would also be a good opportunity to put on a Fluidamper, renew the mains seals and stuff like that. I have some money on the side that I can use for that, what I wouldn't want to or be able to do is let everything be done by a shop or have my engine completely rebuild right now. I intend to do most of the "doable" jobs myself. Pulling an engine can't be that hard, can it?
