Is My Muffler Knacked?

Well, after owning our S2 Stag since Christmas I discovered something interesting this morning. While I was warming it up I noticed that condensation fog was only appearing from one outlet on the muffler. I placed my hand over both outlets and confirmed what I saw was true. It's the factory muffler, which has only done 85,000klms. Is it normal, or have I got a blocked outlet?

with the M35 mufflers, they have a valve inside them that opens the other side as well, but it needs X air pressure to push it open.

probably the same with the C34 and a whole load of other cars

I had the same problem, replaced the muffler , didn`t know about the valve

optional extra? ive only inspected a couple of stags and they never seemed to have it....

My rs4s only used one outlet at idle but used both at wot. It standard, just get an aftermarket exhaust and enjoy the extra breathing.
