Yep felt it! And so did a few friends on Facebook. Weird!

Trozzle and I also heard something a bit earlier... sounded like fireworks or an explosion to me, and it was LOUD like it was outside my window. Probably unrelated though. No one else has mentioned it and we live a couple of streets from each other so maybe it was just local.

Yeah when I woke up I lay there for a second thinking wtf I couldn't possibly have been shaking enough to make shit in my room rattle around lol...though I heard both Shane and Richard were awake at the time so figured I chuck something on facebook to see - YEP earthquake.

Went back to sleeping thinking I had lost the plot.

The possums on my roof and shed are much louder than that, especially when one jumps out of the tree onto the shed, theres dents.

plus tinitus(im deaf) and a baby that gets me up anytime at night, no time for this earthquake rubbish, wake me when California slides into the pacific.
