i think u needa rough up the plastic a bit first with fine sandpaper or similar, then spray an undercoat or thin coat, then a proper coat over that. so that the paint 'bites' properly into the plastic.

i havent done it so dont quote me but im prety sure thats wat u need to do to avoid chipping and peeling.

take out the dash, remove the gauges etc...

sand back all the black plastic/rubber layer on the dash so its back to just plastic looks really scuffed etc.. sand it with smooth sand paper to get a smooth finish (sanding took me and a mate over 2 hours for just the 1 peice of dash)

then spray paint, lots of thin coats - i did about 10, then put a few clear coats on top..

done :)

yer ferni is right thats wat u need to do.. make sure u wash it tho after each time u sand.. also get rid of that black film because ur paint wont stick to it, u also should use a plastic primer only costs u $9.95 and 1 layer is fine. take ur time with the sanding and peeling of that black stuff. it will defenatly show a difference between a good and a bad job.

a nice clear over the top is also a must so it doesnt wear the paint off, and dont spray areas in the car that u touch eg. door handle because this is where u will wear off the paint.

as for the exhaust, its a new fashion trend, hahah u will see, and will like it after u adapt to it..
