Thanks guys, the Mrs was snapping away inbetween bumps! What happened before that was slightly butt clenching up the hill with the coaster bus. Lets just say performance gap between R32 GTR and R35 was displayed in front of me. Provided the lulz looking back on it.

Go another of the R35 on a seemingly empty road- one of my favs.

Thanks for the mad photo Alex!

Awesome Day, one of the best cruises I have been on.

I would have loaded more pics but I hit my upload limit for the month. Link is below:

Great cruise! First time on putty rd, was loving sitting behind your car, it looked awesome when it took off! Good to see a 35 being driven as nissan intended!

That was a great run through old pac guys. Thanks for leading us back as we were quite lost after leaving the hotel. I've got some nice footage and pictures that I'll try to upload or pass on. Contact me next time you guys go out for some spirited driving. Also Sorry about holding back the other bayside blue 34 behind me when Simon and Andrew(i think) took of for the first part because a guy came down flashing his lights at us so we thought coppers were ahead hence we didn't try until later. But man you guys quick, but thats what made it really fun! Hope to see you all again

Kev

No holding up mate. I saw the guy flash his lights too. Figured there was PoPo around somewhere just ahead as well.

Was good fun following the 35R. It sounds so lazy even when it's going quick** Personally, I prefer the sound of an RB, but it sure does hustle** for such a big thing! :-)

Oh, and I should also put in a big thumbs up for the organisers of the cruise. Had a great day and looking forward to the next SAU cruise!

**within the speed limit of course

To ecl:

Ahh okais we must just not have seen you after you stopped on the side of the road, we did some silly overtaking to get behind you ( I was in Simon’s blue GTR) that was well worth it.

To Sloane:

Mate I got another 2 or 3 shots of your car that also look awesome, will load up next month. Hopefully by next cruise your car will be run in and ready to tear shit up.

To Aggroman & hamiltonau:

The first shot I took was subtle but the second you can see her mate is looking right down the barrel. I stopped pretending I was taking photos of the RX7 and went stalker style. He effin loved it haha

To OMG513 aka Ken/Kevin:

On the way back I was in the white Nur with Andrew, as soon as we got on Old Pac from Gosford he put the foot down. We didn’t see anyone flashing lights so we just kept going with Simon sitting right on our arse. That Nur is just awesome in the twisty shit, no tyre squeal just grip and go. Andrew hasn’t been to the Gorge yet so we are going to hit him up soon and go for a run. Will let you know if and when this all happens. Funny part was right at the end of old pac coming into Asquith it started raining so we back right off and what comes past... Paddywagon and non highway patrol sedan PoPo - perfect timing!

I took some vids and I am always so unamazed by how slow in car footage looks once loaded on to Youtube. I was forced to use my iPhone instead of the Canon SLR as the memory stick was near full. We were flying through there and I was so comfortable I was talking with Andrew the whole time. Link to the vids on my Youtube channel below.

We had an awesome day driving from newcastle to the putty and following you guys back to the crowne plaza and checking out all the cars and some hell bumpy roads, got home & still had 1/4 tank left

Hey Paul yeah we thought you might of seen him flash his lights as well since you were so patient staying behind us when the other two bolted off. I know what you mean about the RB sound, i used to also own a bayside blue r34 prior to this and it was a really great car. Yeah the car has surprised me a few times! the way it can lug around all that weight.

Hi Jason? sorry if i had mistaken.. met too many new faces during the day so not sure whos who anymore. Andrews nur is quick! he was flying and Simons efforts weren't far off either, I was surprised how we were all able to stick close to each other, as Paul was still right up my back as well. Galston gorge? if its the place im thinking of then its way tight for my fat girl mann...

Yeah i rkn we were heaps lucky or else the coppers would've seen 4 of us slamming our brakes hahah wouldve been too sus.

Regarding the video I know what you mean, but recording with the go pro normally turns out alright. It gives you a better feel of the speed.

Hey Simon I've uploaded some photos on my facebook with some pretty good shots of your car. I'll paste the link here but not sure if it will work or not, just let me know.

For anyone interested

Thank you mate, we were wondering about him. Good and bad news I guess. Long road to recovery.
